Tending the Gardens of reciprocity: a Spring gardening workshop with Sasha Emoniee

Offered by local herbalist + gardener,

Sasha Emoniee

Honoring growth, playfulness, and possibility in a hands-on gardening workshop. We will come together for a Spring day spent outside with our hands on soil + seeds where we will dive into gardening as a practice of peace, gardening as a work of Earth centered reciprocity, gardening as a lesson in impermanence, gardening as a sanctuary, and gardening as a meditation.

In this workshop we will share the knowledge needed to start or deepen a gardening practice with hands-on practice of garden visioning, soil prep, seed sowing, Earth & Moon centered planting, regenerative practices, creating garden altars, creating reciprocal habitats, and the foundational tools of starting a garden in our planting zone (Los Angeles/9a-11a).

This is an opportunity to build a relationship with the land we live on and give back to it in a beautiful, physical way. A garden can be anywhere so this workshop is welcome to all whether you have a garden, want to start a garden, or don’t yet have the space for the garden but have the dream of tending to the land.

*NOTE: this workshop will not be held directly at the Lune Souleil Temple, but outside in nature within a 30 minute driving distance from our general vicinity. Sasha will email the exact location and workshop details will be emailed to each guest closer to the 23rd!
